You can either watch the video from Websima DMCC YouTube Channel or read this article for the sixth and last part of this season. (We suggest you watching the video)

In this part, I will discuss where you should start the project and how long you should wait to see the results for your SEO project.

Your Company Scale

The first question is: what are the human and financial resources of our company? One of our challenges in web design is the customers who ask for the same Dubizzle website from us. Our first question is: if we give you Dubizzle right now, can you manage it? Do you have enough financial resources for that? I am trying to say that your company’s scale should be parallel with your website and your expectations.

Challenges of each level of the SEO

Homepage and landing pages: time is the challenge here. It is the most difficult level. Archives and categories: Cost is the challenge here. We need link buildings which is costly. And products, articles and news: which is this level, human resource is challenging. The better team you have, the more and better content you can generate.

We build the website from up to down; however, we get the SEO results from down to up.

Bear in mind that you can’t have your homepage on top of google without having good positions on lower levels.

Common mistakes:

One of the most common mistakes is to focus on the main keyword! If you focus on your main keyword for your homepage, you cannot get good rankings in lower levels and then you cannot improve on the main keyword.

The next common mistake is: focusing on general keywords instead of the keywords related to your income. For example, if you are in google ads advertising, you should focus on that, not on digital advertising in general.

The third one is the addiction to generating contents! Sometimes users provide contents, and they get the result. Because of that, they keep generating contents, and they lose the focus on the keywords. In this case, they will start to lose their position on the main keywords. Contents should always be in parallel with our tree structure (Read part 4 if you don’t know what the tree structure is)

Operational schedule of the first year:

The first month is strategy planning. Don’t tell me it is too much; the more you invest here, the better result you get later.

The second month would be for managing and editing level 1 and 2 pages of the website, like homepage and archives.

In the next three months, our focus would be on content-generating only. Whether on services or products. Here, we don’t’ invest in the news as they are temporary.

In the 6th month, we should analyze and modify our strategy based on the results we got during the first 5th month. We may change some pages and keywords in this section based on the data we have. In this section, we may even find a new keyword.

The 7th month would be modifying our contents based on our new analysis.

The following 3 months would be link building. It doesn’t mean that we are not generating contents here, we are still doing that, but our focus would be on link building.

And from 10th month, our focus will be on User Experience, it can be creating videos or news for them. Depending on the nature of your website, it can be different, but this is important to make the customers loyal in this period.

What should be our expectations from this schedule?

First 4 months, we will have quick movements but slow results. It means that we are working hard and fast, but the results will be shown slowly. Here, the patient is the essence.

From the fourth to seventh month, we will see a few good results for level 3. If you reach to 6th month and you haven’t seen any improvement, you should reconsider your strategy planning.

From the seventh to 10th month, your level 2 pages will start to show up in the results.

And finally, from the 9th to 12th month, you should see the homepage and landing pages.

Depending on the competition, this schedule can be scaled

In this season, we learned that how we can draft our SEO Strategy planning. Now we need to move on to apply it. In season 2, we will teach you how to create contents to optimize your SEO. I will be happy if you stay with us during that season as well.

We also recommend you reading the “What is SEO” article to find out what is it all about.
